About us

Chain Bridge Honey Farm was founded in 1948 and is located in Northumberland, England.

After more than 70 years of family operation, the product has gradually developed from a single product of honey to a variety of by-products, and a sales model integrating retail, wholesale and online.

The business site has expanded from a single apiary to a leisure-based, visit-oriented visitor center.

Our trademark is a traditional apiary-style composition, with a simple bee pattern as the center, and the background color is matched with the yellow color of honey. It means that our farm provides a pure environment for bees and creates an original ecological honey source, which also symbolizes We aim to pursue natural, additive-free products as our business philosophy and commitment.

We use heather that grows uniquely in the north of England to make high-quality natural products. The initial finished products include heather honey and honeycomb honey. Heather honey has a bright golden color and a strong and unforgettable aroma. It contains high protein content and is highly recognized for its medicinal value. After long-term research and development, it has also produced a number of popular natural skin care and stress-relieving products, including scented candles, special bubble bombs for baths, bubble baths, etc., which are very popular.

Our Honey

The bees at Chain Bridge Honey Farm can produce up to 50 tonnes of honey in a good season (ie good weather). They begin their honey-making year in fields of oil seed rape. Besides this crop the bees can forage on hawthorn, willowherb, borage and phacelia. The resulting mixed flower honey is bottled and named Tweedside honey after its geographical collection area. It is generally light in colour and deliciously sweet in flavour.

Towards the end of July, the beekeepers load the hives on to specially designed four- and six-wheel drive vehicles to be transported to the heather moors. August brings the Heather flowers into bloom and with it our delicious Heather Honey!
